Among the software that allows you to track content from channels, Captvty has carved out a prominent place and is really gaining ground. This program, highly recommended, can sometimes be difficult to install for some users. Here’s how to install Captvty.
Have a compatible computer
The Captvty software installs on computers running Microsoft Windows, Linux, or MacOS. For computers with Microsoft Word, it is important to have Microsoft .NET Framework 4. Regarding the latter, it is already integrated into your computer running Windows 8 Pro, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10. Therefore, you will have no trouble following your celebrities like Caroline Margeridon in “Affaire Conclue” on your computer.

As for mobile devices, they cannot run this program at the moment. Captvty does not support them. There is therefore no version for mobile screens except for those running Windows 8 Pro or Windows 8.1.
Download the application
Make sure you have internet access, then go to the official Captvty website. Once on the homepage, your goal will be to download the application installer program. The site will offer you the option to take the zip version with archives and the self-extracting version.

Choose the self-extracting version. It offers a certain ease of installation. You will see the progress of your download in the designated toolbar.
Launch the installer
At the end of the download, you will see the downloaded file with the Captvty icon. Right-click on it and select the option “run as administrator.”
A dialog box will warn you that the software comes from an unknown publisher. Do not worry and proceed with the installation without changing the default settings.
Towards the end of this process, a dialog box will inform you of the movement of the extracted files to a folder whose path you can read on the screen.
Confirm this by pressing “Ok.” You will then see a folder on your desktop containing several files, located near the installation file icon.
Move the extracted files folder
At this stage, each item is not yet in the right place. Select the folder containing the extracted files and choose the “cut” option with a right-click.
Then go to the “Program Files (x86)” subfolder on your C drive. If your computer is running 32-bit, you will just look for the “Program Files” subfolder.
Once you have found it, open this subfolder. Then right-click in the empty space and select the “paste” option from the bar that will appear.
You can now admire the folder of extracted files in its rightful place, named “Captvty.”
Create a shortcut on the desktop
This process is lengthy, but it is almost at its end. You should now create a shortcut for the application on your desktop. This is a quick way to access the application from your computer’s desktop.
To do this, open the Captvty folder in its new location. Look for the black icon of the application named “Captvty.exe.” Right-click on it and choose the “send to” option. Then select the sub-option “Desktop (create shortcut).”
Your application is ready to use. Feel free to get rid of the downloaded installation file. This will free up more space on your desktop.
